Certificate of Good Standing (COGS) Requirements

What is a Certificate of Good Standing (COGS)?

A certificate of fitness or certificate of good standing is an official document detailing:

  • the dates you were registered,
  • any disciplinary matters brought against you.

It is issued by the regulatory authority you are/were registered with.

If you hold or have held registration as a physiotherapist, we require a Certificate of Good Standing from ALL of regulatory body you are registered with. This is something you would request from them to either send to us directly at registration@physioboard.org.nz or you can send us a certified copy if it is provided to you directly.
